This was one of my favorite breakfast meals growing up and still is today. Its quick and easy and always a winner with the kids (assuming they aren’t aware that we have waffle mix in the cabinet).
French Toast

French toast with cinnamon, vanilla extract, and half & half topped with powdered sugar and syrup.

Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup Half & Half
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 slices of bread (this can be any kind of bread)
- Butter
- Powdered Sugar
- Syrup
Instructions
- Beat eggs, Half & Half, Vanilla Extract in a bowl
- Heat frying pan over medium heat and melt one slice of butter to coat pan
- Coat bread and place into frying pan cooking one side for 2 minutes. While cooking sprinkle top side with ground cinnamon
- Flip bread over and cook cinnamon side down for 2 minutes
- Place cooked french toast on a plate and top with syrup and powdered sugar. You can also add more cinnamon if you like.
