Ah, the oh so famous Portaro family popcorn cake recipe. Handed down from generations to enjoy at picnics, family gatherings, and bake sales. This can be made with any color of M&M’s but for this version we used the M&Ms Fall Colors Mix.

Ingredients
- 2 Bags of Microwaveable Popcorn
- 1 bag of M&M's Chocolate Candies (just a little over 2 cups)
- 2 Cups of Honey Roasted Nuts (traditionally we use peanuts, but for this one I've used almonds)
- 1 Stick of Butter
- 1 16oz Bag of Marshmallows
- Crisco Shortening (you'll need this to grease a bundt pan)
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn and remove all the kernels that didn't pop. This can easily be done by shaking the bag with the vented end facing down.
- Place popcorn in a large bowl. Trust me, its gotta be huge.
- Add M&M's and honey roasted nuts to popcorn.
- Melt butter and marshmallows in a large pot as if you are making a rice-crispy treat.
- Get a big gob of Crisco and grease a Nonstick Bundt Pan.
- Once the butter and marshmallow mixture is melted pour it over popcorn, nut, and M&M mixture
- Mix it all together and spoon/press into the greased bundt pan.
- Let cool in the fridge for about an hour.
- Once cool, remove from the bundt pan and place on a cutting board. (Tip: Run hot water over the top of the bundt pan to help the popcorn cake release faster)
- Using an Electric Carving Knife cut the popcorn cake into slices and proceed to eat a whole bunch of it.
